  9. WordStar v6.0 LAN is compatible with the LANtastic Network Operating System 
  10. v4.xx.

  12. Product Overview
  13. WordStar 6.0 LAN provides good word processing services to a network 
  14. environment.  Optionally, utilities for telecommunications, outlining, converting 
  15. documents to and from other word processing formats, creating mailing lists, 
  16. managing directories, and inserting graphics into documents can also be 
  17. installed.  For users inexperienced with WordStar's CTRL key combinations, an 
  18. additional pull down menu interface is included.

  20. Test Equipment Configuration
  21. The following machines were used for WordStar testing.  All machines use 
  22. Artisoft AE-2 NICs.  Testing was completed using LANtastic NOS v4.0 with 
  23. AILANBIO.EXE and AE2.EXE v2.03.  Machines running as LANtastic peer 
  24. servers are designated by (S).

  30. Product Installation Notes
  31. The Wordstar 6.0 LAN Installation Guide provides a very comprehensive section 
  32. detailing its installation on a LANtastic v3.0 network, these instructions are 
  33. also valid for NOS v4.0.  The Wordstar installation guide notes that LANCache 
  34. cannot be run on the server during installation, however there is no problem with 
  35. this configuration under NOS 4.0.
